  • A new walk-in service available at most of Hong Kong’s Covid-19 vaccination centres attracted some first-time jab recipients on Wednesday’s public holiday, but whether the new policy will boost the city’s slowing inoculation rate remains to be seen.
  • At about noon, the centre at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre was close to empty.
  • A staff member told a Post reporter they had a few hundred bookings scheduled but only about 10 people had so far asked for a same-day ticket.
