  • Winds in the area died down earlier this week, but they're expected to pick up again on Thursday, according to Santa Rosa Fire Chief Tony Gossner.
  • "For the city of Santa Rosa residents, this wind event is going to be serious enough for everyone to pay attention," he said, according to KQED.
  • "So whether you live in a warning zone or an evacuation zone, you need to pay attention to the weather and everything around you.
