  • According to new reports, an upcoming book titled "Tinderbox: HBO's Ruthless Pursuit of New Frontiers has a chapter dedicated to the creation of the epic fantasy series, and reveals like George RR Martin started doubting the show's creators DB Weiss and David Benioff after Season 5 "George loves Dan and Dave, but after season five he did start to worry about the path they were [going down] because George knows where the story goes," the author's representative Paul Haas reportedly said.
  • "He started saying, 'You're not following my template.' The first five seasons stuck to George's roadmap.
  • The revelation might not have come as a surprise to many fans who follow the books themselves.
  • During the last seasons of"Game of Thrones, the show had quickly caught up to all the written material Martin had, and even now that we're two years down the line from the finale, the last two books for"A Song of Ice and Fire still remain unwritten.
