Half of the immigrants deported under Trump had minimal to no criminal convictions, Washington Post says

  • In February, federal immigration agents arrested more than 680 people believed to be in the country illegally.
  • A statement by the Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said, "approximately 75 percent" of those arrested were "convicted of crimes.
  • But according to new data obtained by the Washington Post, that might not be the case.
