- Another Friday, another chance to encourage everyone to buy a nice TV because 1 It's spooky season and 2 It's a socially-distant spooky season, and scary movies might be the only way to celebrate Halloween (aside from dressing up to play drinking games on Zoom). There's way too much eye strain involved with interpreting dark scenes in FHD, and upgrading to 4K UHD pretty much ensures that you won't be completely lost when characters are in the woods at night.
- Deep blacks and discernible details are a major win for horror fans who appreciate the videography just as much as the scare factor.
- Hulu's announcement of what's coming in October came early this year, and it's more than enough to keep you busy before Candyman comes out on Oct.
- Horror anthology series Monsterland is number one on our watchlist, but classics like House of 1000 Corpses, Scream 4, The Eye, and the first two Hostel movies are also on the way.
